Event Relations

What is Event Relations?

The main task for Event Relations (ER) is to help with any events hosted by OPAS, such as the Preview Party and Gala, and to help coordinate any performance night tasks involving patron relations. They help set up and tear down the Donor Lounge, which opens an hour and a half before the performance begins for OPAS’ upper-level donors. Event Relations is also the liaison between the MSC OPAS Student Committee and OPAS Encore! and helps with their annual Gala benefiting OPAS.

Director of Event Relations Howdy! As the Director of Event Relations, I oversee events hosted by OPAS for our valued donors and season ticket holders. This includes the annual OPAS Gala, our largest fundraising event of the year, and the Season 54 Preview Party, where season ticket holders receive an exclusive look at the upcoming season. I also manage the Donor Lounge, offering our top donors a catered dining experience before each Mainstage Performance. I am honored to represent OPAS this year and welcome any questions or inquiries regarding Event Relations.
