Education Outreach

What is Education Outreach?

An important part of OPAS is our campus and community outreach in offering an array of opportunities to experience the performing arts. EO is responsible for these actions, especially for the children of the Brazos Valley. When school performances come to campus, EO works to manage the performance operations. EO facilitates the safe transition of the children between their buses and Rudder Theatre. We hope that, by reaching out to these children at an early age, we can encourage them to be involved with the arts as they get older, thereby cultivating a new generation of artists and art supporters.

Director of Education Outreach As the executive for Education Outreach in Season 53, I’m excited to lead a team in reaching out to the community of the Brazos Valley. Bringing a generation of students to engage in the arts is at the forefront of our minds every day that we work with the MSC OPAS Student Committee. Our team is excited to bring theater to the children in our community, and aims to inspire them to find themselves in every art they come across.
